Eng2Move Delivers First In-Grid Microgrid Solution to Industry User in Germany
Eng2Move own design microgrid cabinet MPX-ESS-200 with DC-coupled PV for factory application and 180kW high-power EV charger.
Eng2Move has successfully commissioned its first in-grid microgrid solution for an industrial client in Germany. The project centers on Eng2Move’s own MPX-ESS-200 cabinet, a DC-coupled energy storage system designed for robust factory applications.
The system was deployed for EAS Batteries GmbH, a renowned manufacturer of high-performance lithium batteries. Their facility required a solution capable of significant peak shaving, managing loads exceeding 100kW during daily operations. The MPX-ESS-200 cabinet not only meets this demand but also provides the necessary power to support an onsite 180kW EV charger. Furthermore, it seamlessly integrates with the factory’s existing 137kWp photovoltaic array, maximizing the use of renewable energy for both operational efficiency and cost reduction.
This installation underscores Eng2Move’s capability to deliver tailored, multi-functional energy management systems.
